Non-surgical aesthetic treatments are a quick way to restore the glow and radiance to your face. The treatments we provide, aim to give a natural look, with subtle enhancements. The treatments are offered by Dr Meera; an experienced dentist, who has trained on Harley Street in non-surgical facial aesthetics treatments.
A purified protein injected into the muscle interrupts the nerve signal to the muscle, causing it to relax. This prevents wrinkles in the overlying skin, when for example smiling and frowning. The maximum effect occurs at about 2 weeks post injection. The effect can last for 3-4 months. Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly given to reduce the appearance, of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines, but can be used on other areas of the face. This treatment can be used to relax chewing muscles to provide relief from tooth grinding. The product may also be used reduce excessive underarm sweating.
The aging process causes changes in the volume of the face, resulting in a tired and sagging appearance. Injecting filler into certain areas of the face can restore the lost volume, supporting the overlying tissues, giving a more refreshed appearance. We use the highly acclaimed Restylane product range. The fillers consist of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring product in the body, along with a local anaesthetic. Effects may last up to 12 months for lips and up to 18 months for cheeks.
